wooo, really long weekend that just went by.
had training on saturday morning followed by intercity briefing. so im rooming with ben, probably the best choice for me for this trip. leaving this friday and coming back on the following sunday night. will be quite a experience and the chances of getting a medal is quite great. not much competition there from what i heard. went down with parents to vivo city for one of the launches my daddy did. girlfriend came down to meet us and we went shopping for a luggage. hahaha. finally got my own luggage though i thought the kipling one was super cute. went back to get ready for sammyboy's birthday party. first time ive seen the whole group, all dress in shirt and gown. looking smart and pretty. dinner was at this awesome place along ang siang street called the screening room with a beautiful almost vintage open room bar concept. took quite alot of pictures and never have i mixed champagne, white wine, red wine, whisky, vodka and beer. though i didnt drink alot, the mix was really vast and very strong. stopped halfway to gobble down some food instead. sunday was spent at home, gerald came over and it was a pretty dull and boring sunday actually. went over to howie's place for his birthday dinner and i guessed we were pretty disappointed with the attention we got and hospitality at the dinner. headed up to his place after his guest left and we were left alone to watch transformers, nice. while another group went to play mahjong. quite disorganized and very anti social planning i must comment. went back home to watch man u!
